Our story has just begun, and we are so glad to include you as part of our journey.

Gold & Stone Adornment Co. was founded with an innovative spirit and a fearless vision: create high couture heirloom pieces to be adored, and to beautifully lead the way for an environmentally and socially conscious business.

Elevated Design

Our designs are focused on self-empowerment.  For the woman that is both strong and elegant, bold and yet refined. We showcase the power and strength in being feminine, complex, and multi-faceted. We offer something deeper than fine jewelry; we offer pieces to connect with, adornments that showcase your unique individuality.

We celebrate diversity. Everyone has an expression of who they are, their journey, and their personal style.  Gold & Stone offers variety in each collection: variety in style, variety in price, and individual collections. We also offer custom bespoke design to ensure your unique dream pieces will come to life.  Here, there is an adornment for everyone.

Adornments to be adored for generations. When you buy a Gold & Stone piece, you become a part of our family. It’s the beginning of a beautiful relationship that cultivates over time, as we evolve and grow together.  We create tomorrow’s heirlooms, so you can tell your story to future generations. Adornments that are beyond trends with lasting elegance and timeless appeal.

Building an Ethical Supply Chain

Sustainability is at the core of everything we do at Gold & Stone. Every business decision, every design detail, and every aspect of our production process is grounded in an ethos of consciously considered production and consumption. We offer full transparency of our products and suppliers for gemstones and metal sources. We support suppliers who are ethical and have fair work principles in place.

Heirlooms with a Purpose

We intend to build a community in jewelry with a higher purpose. Thinking globally, we start by offering a minimum of 10% of profits supporting refugees. We have long term plans of increasing that percentage and becoming more active in the refugee community by offering scholarships and courses for those interested in jewelry. We also want to help local communities. If you have an organization that is making a difference in your area, please contact us. We would love to know more about them.

As a business we are constantly evolving and growing. If you or someone you know has applicable knowledge relevant to jewelry, sustainability or socially conscious business ideas we would love to hear from you. We are always looking to learn, grow and improve.

BEHIND THE STORY

Who We Are

cjheadshots2021-55_edited_edited_edited.jpg

Christiane Joy Gozashti

CEO / Founder / Designer

Christiane, has had a love affair with jewelry since she was a child. One of her childhood “Wow!” moments, she says, was seeing the “Jewels of the Romanovs” exhibit that traveled the United States in 1996-97. With a unique and eclectic style, she struggled finding the perfect piece. She often envisioned them before knowing whether that piece existed. Factor in her natural talent and affinity for art of all types, becoming a jewelry designer might seem a pre-ordained path. However, that path had a few twists and turns. A native Californian and a former competitive surfer, Gozashti has traveled the world and, for eight years, lived in Newcastle, NSW, Australia, where her jobs included events manager (juggling up to 90 weddings at a time), real estate buyer manager, and head of the art department for a company that developed after-school art programs. In the Fall of 2019, she decided to pursue her passion of jewelry as a career.

“It was the passion for jewelry, paired with the love of Design, engineering and science that led me to realize that jewelry was the perfect choice for me, and I have peace in knowing this will be my industry for life.”

In the spring 2021, she began GIA’s Jewelry, Design, & Technology diploma program, and over the next few years will supplement that with Graduate Gemologist and Graduate Jeweler diplomas.

“My goal is to do what I love, learn something from it and give back to the industry.”

How? She would like to teach and provide scholarships “for future jewelry dreamers.” She also intends to donate a minimum of 10 percent of her profits to a global organization dedicated to refugees, with plans to increase that percentage to other community organizations. One of her parents had to leave Iran as a child in the late 1970s during that country’s revolution, and she’s seen how that major change affected that side of her family. “I saw the hardships of trying to enter a different culture, not speaking English, and needing to start over—whatever educational degrees they had weren’t recognized,” she says.

It is important to me to make this career meaningful beyond personal gain.”
